I was pretty certain that mass deportations would result in mass chaos. Absolutely nobody else, and that includes A-list commentators, talked about how difficult and chaotic deportations would be.
But the biggest element I didn't forecast or think about was the involvement of the left and of local residents attacking ICE in almost every operation. Also I didn't think of the lawfare aspect, down to the individual mayors and governors sabotaging deportation.

Well, yeah, even more chaos. It's just turning the volume control up on the operations.
Now I'm reading that a lot of National Guard are talking about not obeying orders to go into their home areas.
This is a definite push toward civil war. IMO the deportations have to be done. Biden's open door policy on immigration was highly destructive and now we're paying the deferred price of it.
