That is interesting. I wonder why they didn't crack down on all of the gangs? None of them are good for society. Its like an infestation of criminals from everywhere in the world and people in NYC just tolerate it. I know people are very used to all the diversity in NYC, but the crime has to go.

I won't go to NYC anymore, like I did sometimes in the past. Back then it was safe enough to go with a girlfriend . Now, I just don't feel safe going there at all. It feels more like taking a chance that it'll work out okay. I don't think Zohran will improve this.

Someone on another forum said an interesting bit. The Chinese gangs were actually pretty effective at stopping crime by blacks and illegals. However, the government cracked down hard on the Chinese gangs and now they aren't able to do that anymore.

There always were street vendors on Canal Street, but not migrant gangs of them like now. I haven't been to that area of NYC for a long time, so it was shocking to me to see what its like now. I used to use Canal St. to get to the San Gennaro festival in Little Italy every year. I stopped going to the festival because it just became way too crowded.

I don't understand why people in the city are okay with the migrant gangs. When I went to NYC, mostly in the '80s, it never looked like that. Now, you can't even walk down the street without weaving in and out of migrant gangs. The sad thing is that DHS cleaned it up and a month later it looks like they never did anything.

I couldn't believe this video of Canal Street in NYC. This is only one month later after DHS cleaned it up. It's really sad that these migrant gangs are allowed to exist on the street like that and local law enforcement is told to do nothing. I just don't get that.
